He's now attached to the lead role in a quirky new love story, workingly-titled A Giant.While the name will change, the subject matter is sticking around, with the plot following a girl who is sick of having no money and finding herself in bad relationships. When she moves back home to reconnect with her brother, she ends up falling for one of his neighbours. Who just so happens to be a 20-foot tall man-child (LaBeouf). As you do...Monster House/City Of Ember's Gil Kenan is in line to direct from his own script and he has the backing from the Henson Company alongside production company Lava Bear.LaBeouf has a few projects coming up, none of which feature Optimus Prime. He'll next be seen in prohibition-era crime drama The Wettest County In The World alongside Tom Hardy and is filming Robert Redford's new pic The Company You Keep.
